Five books from my work in political philosophy and the philosophy of wine. This is a selection, not a complete bibliography.
Natural wine began as a critique of industrial winemaking. Many of its signs have since become a recognizable style. The book reconstructs that history and presents the post-natural as a move toward agronomic quality, the complexity of soils, and the ecological responsibility of growers.
This account treats democracy as a form of society and as a normative framework for personal, social, economic, and political life. American pragmatism and critical theory provide the basis for rethinking the scope of democratic political theory.
